Ronald Raymond Theile

Ronald Raymond Theile, 85, Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at home February 13. Beloved husband of 53 years of Marlene (nee Hayes; devoted father of Craig (Peggy), Glenn (Pat), Kevin (Beth), and Daren; loving grandfather of Jackson, Caroline, Patrick, Jill, Gregory, Kendall, Madison and Regan; dear brother of Marilyn Theile and brother-in-law of Juanita Theile, Marlon (Eleanor) Hayes, Richard (Jan) Willis and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron was a proud graduate of Reading High School, serving in the Navy during his senior year. He earned his professional degrees from The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and University of Cincinnati and Athenaeum College. He taught in Germany and within Cincinnati Public Schools for 30 years. He served as choir director at Trinity Lutheran Church and operated a piano tuning business for 40 years. Following retirement, Ron was an active volunteer and compassionate caregiver within the community. He was preceded in death by is brother, Kenneth and son, Daren. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, February 18 at 11:00 with visitation beginning at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1553 Kinney Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231 or Valley Interfaith Food and Clothing Bank, 420 W. Wyoming Ave., Lockland, OH 45215.
