Rosalind Donges

Of Hamilton, OH passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the age of 99. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 13, 1911, the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Wartmann) Burbrink. On September 5, 1936 in St. Leo Church in Cincinnati, she was married to Clarence Douglas of Hamilton, OH who preceded her in death on March 9, 1992.
She also had three sisters and three brothers who preceded her in death: Catherine Donges, Clara Streicher, Margaret Burbrink, Philip Burbrink, Bernie Burbrink and George Burbrink. Rosalind was a former member of St. Julie Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She is survived by three sons, and their wives: Tom and Marie, Dan Mary, and Joe and Sally. Also, eight grandchildren, Doug, Mike, Deanna, Brian, Erin, Eric, Lindsey, Lauren; and seven great-grandchildren, Sarah, Cameron, Jessica, Gabe, Max, Reece and Grayson. Rose wished to thank everyone at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder for their kindness and for making the last years of her life, very happy ones. The family would also like to thank Hospice of Cincinnati for their loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2010 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, 1302 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013, with Father Duffy, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
