Rosella Dawson
September 12, 1918 — April 2, 2008
Age 89 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born September 12, 1918 in Hamilton, the daughter of Jack and Blanche Inloes. She graduated from Hamilton High School. On November 16, 1938 Rosella married Raymond C. Dawson and he later preceded her in death August 1, 1990. She worked for Shillitos / Macys for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton, where she participated in the J.O.Y. Bible Class and Keenagers Group.
Rosella is survived by her son, Raymond E. (Caroll) Dawson; grandchildren, Kristin (Chuck) Fryer, Scott (Kristin) Dawson, and David Dawson; great-grandchildren, Joe, Kate, Kelli, and Kevin Fryer and Dale Dawson. She also leaves special friends Kim Lester, Callie Hyde, Thelma Ditmyer and Pat Hollister. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son Jack S. Dawson on October 14, 2005.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. - until time of service (2 p.m.), Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
