Roy C. Lynch

Roy C. Lynch, 96, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, October 7, 2018. The son of Moses and Laura Lynch, Roy was born on July 2, 1922 in Tennessee.

Roy was a proud WWII veteran, Ford Motor Company employee and UAW local chapter bargaining committeeman. Roy was predeceased by many loved ones, including his beloved son Moses Lynch.

In addition to Georgia Lynch, his wife of 72 years, Roy is survived by his daughters Patricia (James) Angel and Lynn (Richard, deceased) Schoen; grandchildren Timothy (Stephanie) Bailey, Tina (Robert) Brock, Laura (Luis) Angel-Lalanne and Tish (Christopher) Reed; and great-grandchildren Nicholas, Maddison, Emmagrace, Naomi, Ciella, Caleb, Aidan, Ruby and Scarlett. He is also survived by many special nieces and nephews, including his attentive and much loved nephew David (Jacquelyn) Lynch.

In lieu of a funeral, Roy’s wish was that his immediate family gather to celebrate his life at Norris Lake, Tennessee,  where he spent his happiest moments with them making memories during their treasured annual vacations. His family will be ever grateful for his role in making this a lasting legacy.
