Roy Charles Marchant

Roy Charles Marchant, age 80, passed away at his home in Loveland on Saturday May 17th, 2025.  Roy was born Oct. 26,1944 in Hamilton, Ohio to Ervin and Marion Marchant. Roy was one of six children.  He is preceded in death by his brothers: Ervin Jr. (Butch) and Myron, and one sister, Simone (Johnson).  He is survived by his wife of 37 years Brenda (Perkins-Merlock); sons: Brad and Brian Marchant, and Dwight Merlock; grandchildren: Emily and Dawson Marchant, and Anthony Merlock; siblings: Cindy (Kuehlthau) and Vera (Dan Lee); numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Roy was a cabinet and display maker for Adex.  He was an avid photographer.  Roy’s other hobby was his Gold Wing Trike that he enjoyed riding with Brenda and friends from E2 Gold Wing Club. Roy served our country in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968. Visitation will be 9:30am until the time of service (11am) on Saturday May 31, 2025, at Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio with Preston Johnson officiating.
