Rozetta A. Mills, age 69 of Hamilton, OH died March 7, 2012 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born August 1, 1942 in Waldport, Oregon to Leonard T. Lester and June Martin. She was educated through the Waldport schools and enlisted in the Navy right after graduation in 1960. During her service to the US Navy, she served as a core waif and it was here that she met her beloved husband, Sandy (Hubert L Mills, Sr.) They were married on March 7th, 1962. Rose was honorably discharged from the military in 1964 and traveled with her husband and young son, Hubert Jr. overseas while Sandy fulfilled his military duty. They settled down in the Gainesville and Jacksonville, FL areas and Rose worked as a CNA for many years. In later years, she worked alongside Sandy in an optical shop in Daytona Beach, FL. Once both were retired, they enjoyed traveling and cruising the St John's River in their boat. Sandy preceded Rose in death on October 23, 2006. They had moved to the Hamilton area to be closer to their grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Hubert L Mills, Jr. (Maggie); son, Leonard Mills, grandchildren, David and Jacob Mills; and brother, Larry Lester. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and June Lester and Brothers Samuel and Leonard Lester.

Services will be held Sunday, March 11th, 6pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church 2047 Tuley Rd. 45011. Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Remembrances may be sent to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
