Ruby Gable

Ruby Gable passed away on July 12, 2016 at 91 years old. Ruby was born in 1925 in Oklahoma. Ruby met her Husband Philip Gable in Oakland, CA during the war years of World War II. After the War Ruby and Philip settled in Philip’s hometown in Indiana and then finally moved to Ohio where Philip worked at Ford Motor Company and Ruby Worked for Cincinnati Bell. Ruby enjoyed life, she enjoyed dancing, and she enjoyed meeting her friends at some of the local restaurants such as McDonalds for Coffee, Waffle House where she was known as Ms. Ruby, and Dunko Donuts when it was in business. Ms. Ruby brought a smile to just about everyone’s face that knew her. Ruby is survived by her sister Goldie, by her two daughters Margery Balsbaugh and Pam Robertson. Ruby is also survived by three grandchildren Sherri Clifford, John Hicks and Jason Hicks and by 4 great grandchildren: Cole Clifford, Emmeline Hicks, John Hicks III, and Antonina Ruby Hicks (who is named after her) Ruby will be missed by her Friends and Family.
