Age 64 of Hamilton passed peacefully on Friday April 30, 2010 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital with family at her side. She was born July 18, 1945 in Hamilton, OH the daughter of William H. and Thelma (Burns) Wagers. A local business owner, fiery redhead and loving wife and mother. Ruth Ann loved to laugh, go to the boat, shopping, and writing poems and song lyrics.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Eddie Wagers and Willie Hensley. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of nearly 47 years, Kenneth Jackson; daughter Samantha Houp; son Kenneth G. Jackson; son-in-law Daniel Houp; sisters Janet Marie Mills and Geraldine Mills; brothers Albert R. Wagers and Darrell L. Wagers, all of Hamilton and William Wagers of Fairfield; two very special sisters-in-law, Judith K. (David) Gullett and Linda (Eddie) Wagers of Hamilton; a special niece Saundra (Lyndale) Justice; close friend Judy Combs of Florida; and beloved pet, Sammi.
A special thanks to Dr. Logan-Collins and the staff of University Hospital for their wonderful care, and to Judith K. (Dave) Gullett and Linda (Eddie) Wagers for all their love and support.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. - until time of the Celebration of Life Service (6:30 p.m.), Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
