Sally Lou (Stillman) Nelson

Sally Lou, age 85, passed away on February 14, 2018. She was born on September 19, 1932 in Paxton, IL to the late Charles E. and Ella E. (nee Robertson) Stillman.

Sally graduated from St. Joseph High School in St. Joe, MI in 1950. She married Stanley L. Nelson in St. Joe, MI on December 2, 1951.

Sally was employed for many years by OPX Logistics; afterward, she with her husband, Stanley L. Nelson, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2007; owned and operated Nelson Transportation Co., in Charleston, MO. Sally was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston MO.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Mary) Nelson, Kathy Davis, Kristine Roselle, David Nelson, and Jennifer Nelson; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; siblings, Barbara Southland and Shirley (Jim) Chapman; son in law, Billy French; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Sally is preceded in death by her, parents; husband; daughter, Peggy French; great great grandson, Corvyn Hammond; and her brother, Dick Stillman.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
