Saloma L. Burer

Age 91 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1919 in Hamilton, the daughter of Art and Elsie (Luechauer) Vogel. On May 9, 1942 Saloma married Robert Burer in Hamilton. She was a charter member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and a member of the Fair Acres Garden Club.

She leaves behind her husband, Robert Burer; children, Tom (Carolyn) Burer and Linda (Dale) Miner; grandchildren, Bryan (Susan) Miner, and Robert and John Burer; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Douglas Miner; sister, Alverta Weaver; nephew, Art Bacher; nieces, Nancy Wenning and Amy Weaver; and care givers Teresa Skally, Sandy Morgan and Robin Orona. Saloma was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marilyn Bacher.

Visitation will be 12 Noon - until time of service (1 p.m.), Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Rev. Timothy Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Burns Institute. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
