Sara Hazel Moore, born February 26, 1969, passed away on November 30, 2016, in Middletown Ohio. She was born at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton and went to Fairfield Public Schools. She graduated from Lakota High School in 1987, although she considered herself as part of the class from Fairfield.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education, concentrating in Mathematics, from Miami University in Oxford in 1992. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Hazel Moore, whom she was named after, as well as her maternal grandparents Glen and Marcella Evans. She is survived by her son Brad and her daughter Gabrielle, her parents, Nancy and Robert Moore, her sister Rebecca Heftel, sister Dr. Kathleen Marriott and brother-in-law Scott Marriott, nieces and nephews Catrina Heftel , Lillian Marriott and Lucas Marriott, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins, all who loved her dearly.
Her life was too brief, but now she is at peace from her struggles and illness. Funeral arrangements are private. There will be a memorial gathering at Ryan’s Tavern (241 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio) on December 27th from 4 until 7 PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
