Saul Douglas – age 78 of Fairfield passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born January 8, 1937 in Hamilton, OH to the late Robert and Racheal Hacker. Saul was a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry earning his D.D.S. On July 7, 1963, he mar ried his wife Christine Hacker (nee Wagner). Saul was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Christine; their children Douglas Hacker, Warren Hacker and Molly (Ken) Wulf; grandchildren Alexis and Drew Hacker and Christine and Sean Wulf; brother Robert (Elenor) Hacker; also survived by numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Emma Maslar. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6-8PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service will be Friday morning at 10AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Saul’s name to the Fairfield Community Foundation, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, OH 45014.
