Sharon Ann (Lane) Barton

Sharon Ann Barton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2025.  She was born March 15, 1939 in Bradshaw, West Virginia and moved with her family to Black Star in Alva, Kentucky at a young age where she remained until she graduated high school and married the love of her life, Donald Barton.  Sharon was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Rosina Lane, sister Mary Lou Dugger and brother Jerry Lane.  She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Donald Barton, along with 3 children, Donna (Mike) Wert, Kenny (Beverly) Barton and Kevin (Julie) Barton; 4 grandchildren Rachel (Chris) Sannan, Michael (Cass) Wert, Lacey (Brandon) Laug and Brian (Karina Alvarado) Barton; 4 great-grandchildren, Makenna Sannan, Cassidy Sannan, Ashton Barton and Landon Laug; 4 step grandchildren, Becky Bilby, RaeJean Wilson, Jessica McCormick and Hannah McFarland; 2 brothers Billy (Phyllis) Lane and Jimmy (Josie) Lane, as well as many extended family members.  Visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:00AM until time of service (11:00AM) at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, OH, 45014 with Dr. Wallace A. Miller officiating.  Interment to follow immediately after the service at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
