Sharon L. Carito

CARITO

Sharon L. (nee Bales) was born on January 27, 1944, passed away on the Lord's Day, Sunday, September 15, 2013. Sharon married Thomas A. Carito on January 16, 1965; loving mother of Angela Carito (Jeff Kenworthy) and Kristie J. Carito. She is also survived by her mother Bonnie L. Thompson; her sister Dana K. Holtzclaw, and her brother Robert Bales.

Sharon was a devoted Christian who enjoyed spending her time volunteering in the community. She volunteered for many years for the Fairfield Boosters as well as mentoring children in the Fairfield West reading program, and the Fairfield West Baptist Church after school learning program. Sharon also enjoyed baking cakes and treats for her many friends and family for their special occasions. Her bright smile, spirit, and laughter were contagious to all around her. She attended High St. Baptist and Fairfield West Baptist Church. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cinti, OH 45263-3597, or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd., Cinti, OH 45242.
