Sharon (nee Walker) – age 80 of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was born January 19, 1937 in Chicago, IL to the late Herbert and Helen Walker (nee Margerum). On September 26, 1959 in Downers Grove, IL, she married her husband John Lukes who preceded her in death in 1981. Sharon was a registered nurse retiring from Mercy Hospital Fairfield after 34 years of service to her community. She is survived by her children Beth Lukes, Jenny Lukes, Amy (Colleen Fried) Lukes and Jane (Jeff) Davis; grandson John Davis; also survived by numerous family and friends. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her sister Mrs. Judith (Frederick) Biestman. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1-3PM at Meritage Restaurant, 40 Village Square, Cinti, OH 45246. Burial will be held in Clarendon Hills, IL at a later date.
