Of Fairfield passed away October 3, 2013 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Wenatchee, WA, on January 27, 1936, the daughter of Walter and Kathryn (Black) Bumps. On February 25, 1956 Shirley married Charles Combs in Liberty, IN. She was the late wife of the Owner and Operator of Charles R. Combs Trucking, Inc. for many years until their retirement.
She leaves behind her loving daughters, Rhoda Combs and Chrystal (Terry) Hershner; grandsons, Joshua and Adam Morgan; great-grandchildren, Noah and Levi Morgan; and sister, Beatrice Paxman.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
At Ms. Combs' request, services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield is serving the family.
