Age 77, of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at her home. She was born March 5, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Bennie and Lillian (Duggins) True. In 1948 Shirley married James W. Hammonds in Ludlow, KY. She was a member of the Winton Road Church of God.
Shirley is survived by her husband, James W. Hammonds; daughter, Sharon Buchanan; sons, Skip (Cheryl) Hammonds and Tim (Debby) Hammonds; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
