Shirley Jean (Drake) Salsinger

SALSINGER Shirley Jean, age 81, of Fairfield passed away on August 2, 2016. She was born on January 9, 1935 in Marion, Ohio to the late Ralph and Lola Drake. On March 23, 1956 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida she married the love of her life, John “Jack”. Shirley is survived by her devoted husband, John “Jack”; loving sons, Michael (Shawn) Salsinger and Scott Salsinger; devoted granddaughters, Casey (Kevin) Lester and Nichole (Brad) Hoffmeister; dear great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lilli, William, and Avery. She is also survived by her niece, Brandy (Mike Airey) Stone and many friends. Preceded in death by her brother Norm Drake and sister in law Barbara Stone.
Shirley was a member of Hilltop Artists in College Hill, where she organized many of the art shows. She also was the office manager for the Homebuilders Association of Cincinnati and Design Services Interior Design.
Visitation will be Thursday August 11, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, Ohio 45014. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
