Steve Murphy

Steve Murphy of Fairfield, OH passed away October 8, 2007, at Glen Meadows Nursing Home in Fairfield. He was born July 17, 1918, in Lebanon, KY to William and Gertrude (Polley) Murphy. Steve is a World War II Army Veteran and was also a member of the Tri-County Church of the Nazarene.
Steve is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vivian Murphy; son, Mike (Jane)Murphy of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Darlene (Kenneth) Anders of Sunman, IN; grandson, Matthew Anders; and sister, Estella Compston of Anderson, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held at Avance Funeral Home at 4976 Winton Road in Fairfield from 10 until time of service (11 a.m.) on Friday, October 12, 2007. Pastor Dan Walters will officiate followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Condolences may be sent to www.avancefuneralhome.com
