Steven Foster – age 58 of Monroe, passed away on Friday December 5, 2014. He was born August 26, 1956 in Nashville, TN to Ruth Ellen Stofel (nee Anderson) and the late Thomas Eugene Stofel. He married his wife Vickie Stofel (nee Rannels) in Columbia, MD in 1977. Steven was a member of the Ohio Bar Association practicing law for over 15 years, a veteran of the US Coast Guard and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; sons Jason (Janet) Stofel and Sam (Tiffany) Stofel; his mother Ruth; grandson Dominic Stofel and unborn grandson Theo Stofel due in April; also survived by his brother Wendell Stofel of California; Visitation will be held W ednesday December 10, 2014 from 6PM until time of service (8:15PM) at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.
