Brunswick

Stewart Lee Davis, 63, of Brunswick, OH, passed away on January 17, 2025. Born October 19, 1961 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Jean and Ronnie Davis, of Williamsport, MD. He was of the Methodist faith, having attended Williamsport United Methodist Church.  Stewart was a 1980 graduate of Williamsport High School. In his youth, Stewart was a boy scout and member of the Hagerstown Speed Skating team, where he was an accomplished skater and national champion. After school Stewart took his passion for cars and began working for Terry’s Auto Center in Boonsboro. From there he decided that rather than fixing cars, he would prefer to sell them and thus began his career in sales at various dealerships in Hagerstown and PA. From there, after moving to Ohio, Stewart became well known for his skills in sales and management at various dealerships including Strongsville Dodge, and Diesel Direct, which he helped to create. He loved the art of the sale and all who he worked with. His first love, however, was racing, something he and his dad shared a common interest in. Traveling all over the country to dirt tracks and Nascar races, Stewart met many great people along the way whose friendship he loved and cherished. Stewart is survived by his sister, Susie Butts, and husband, Randy of Williamsport, MD, their children, Katie Grabill, and fiance, Chase, and children, Ainsley, Hudson, and Harper; Ryan Davis, and his wife, Katie, and their children, Carson and Riley. He is also survived by his children, Justin Davis, of Waynesboro, PA: Vanessa Demmon, and husband, Rick, of Pickerington, OH, and their children, Cannon and Crew: Timothy Davis, of San Dimas, CA: Joshua Davis and wife, Ashley, and their children, Jocelyn, and Jaxon of Pickerington, OH; Jeremy Davis of Brunswick, OH, and Ryan C. Davis, of Brunswick, OH. Stewart is also survived by numerous beloved cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by both of his parents, as well as his brother, Rob, and infant daughter, Nichole A. Davis. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD at a date to be determined.  Donations in Stewart’s memory may be made to the Kyle Larson Foundation or NASCAR Foundation.
