Sybil M. Smith

Sybil M. Smith, age 73, of Monroe, OH passed away at Christ Hospital on the evening of Saturday, August 14, 2004. She was born on November 12, 1930 to Alton P. and Nannie Clark. She married Clifford H. Smith on October 1, 1948 and they were divorced in 1994. Sybil moved to the Fairfield area in 1991 and then went on to live at the Mt. Pleasant Retirement Community in Monroe.

She is survived by her sons; Clifford T. Smith of Fairfield and Robin D. Smith of Sedalia, MO, her companion; Jack Bartos of Monroe, five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, with another due soon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20th at the Monroe Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Elm St., Monroe, OH 45050. The family will receive friends starting at 5 p.m. with the service beginning at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial contribution be sent to the family c/o Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
