Sylvia (nee Hobbs) Beloved wife of 60 years of Andy Hampton Jr., devoted mother of Doug (Rosanna) and loving grandmother of Joe and Rosita (fiance Tom Williams). She is also survived by her sisters Hazel Schaney and Lucy Roark. She was preceded in death by her 12 brothers and sisters. Sylvia passed away Wednesday September 1, 2010, age 83. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am at the funeral home. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 10-11 am at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd.
