Teresa (McCarthy) Briggs passed on November 11, 2018 at TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital, Hamilton, OH. Born on October 15, 1930 in Brookline, Mass. to Joseph F McCarthy and Margaret Katherine (Daly) McCarthy. United in marriage to Donnie Briggs on June 15, 1947 in Brookline, Mass. Teresa leaves to cherish her memory of 71 years, her husband Don, three children, Dennis (Lynne); Don (Mary Jo); Kathy Metcalf; seven grandchildren, Katie Selby, Donald R. Briggs, April (Briggs) Johnson, Angie (Briggs) Bucheit, Lori (Briggs) Schisler, Jamie Metcalf, Amy (Metcalf) Taylor; 15 great-grandchildren and loving fur-baby, Benji.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mary Dreischer, Marjorie Spencer, Anna Cappuccio; sons, Joseph Briggs and Charles (Chick) Briggs; son-in-law, Gary Metcalf; daughter-in-law, Judith (Judy) Briggs; grandson, Mark Paul Selby; great-granddaughter, Catherine Lynne Johnson

Teresa's  personal philosophy regarding illness was, "Two aspirins and a Hail Mary". We all will miss her Irish wit and love. Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
