Terry Jo (Schuler) Huff

Terry Jo (Schuler) Huff, 63, of Fairfield Township, passed away on September 16, 2022. Terry was born April 22, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio.  Terry was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rosemary (Edmisten) Schuler and one brother Robert Earl Schuler.  Terry is survived by her son, Joseph Huff, two brothers, Chuck (Brenda) Schuler, and Jim Schuler.  Nieces and Nephews: Kim (Andy) Kindred, Karen (Jeff) Knopsnyder, Joshua Schuler, Elizabeth (Kevin) McCabe, Brendan (Aubrey) Schuler, Sarah (Devon) Evans, Alex Schuler, and great nieces/nephews; Kris (Megan) Foster, Randy Foster, Jacob (Destinie) Foster, Nathan Church, Cheyenne Howe, Elyse Schuler, Rosalyn McCabe, Azalea Schuler, and Charlotte Rosemary Evans.  Additionally, Terry loved her extended Edmisten family like siblings.  Terry attended school in Portsmouth and graduated in 1977 from Portsmouth High School and then obtained her associate degree and licensure in social work. She spent much of her career helping those with addictions with their recovery.  Terry devoted her life to the love and care of her “Joey Boy” and in doing so was a huge supporter of the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League, Butler County Challenger Baseball, Butler County Special Olympics, Cincinnati Reds Bowling, Ken Anderson Alliance, Miami Best Buddies Program, Butler County DD, East Butler YMCA and Ability to Thrive. She was an avid fan of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats, the Reds and the Bengals. Terry and Joe showed their spirit by attending every game possible while sporting the team colors.  Terry knew no strangers, had an enormous heart, and sense of humor like no other.  Her ability to light up a room with her boisterous laugh and beautiful smile will be missed by all who loved her.   A Private Family visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00am and Family will receive Friends from 11:00-12:00 noon on Saturday September 24, 2022. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at Avance Funeral Home at 4876 Winton Rd, Fairfield, Ohio, 45014.  Terrys’ final resting place will be a beautiful knoll in the Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati, Ohio.
