Age 94, passed away March 24, 2009, at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, Hamilton, OH. He was born in Washington, Indiana to George and Barbara (Kramer) Poolitsan, on July 13, 1914. He worked as a tool and die maker at The National Can Company in Hamilton until his retirement in 1970. Thomas was a member of the Fairfield VFW, and the Elks Pure Gold Lodge. Lifetime member of the Monkeys Mutual Aid Society.
He is survived by his 4 children, Caroline (Joseph) Hingsbergen, Thomas (Imogene), Timothy (Linda), and Catherine (Dennis) Elliott; and sister, Eleni (Walter) Edwards; sister in law, Martha Kramer. He leaves behind 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bernadette (Bordenet); brother, John George Kramer, of Sugarland, TX.
Mass of Eternal Rest will be 10:00AM, Monday, March 30, 2009, at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Forest Park, Ohio. The burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Hamilton.
