Thomas Harold Walsh

Thomas Harold Walsh of Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at home at the age of 76 with his loving family in attendance.  Husband of 54 years to Mary Jean Walsh (nee Klingenberg).  Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Hazel and Francis Walsh, graduated from St. Ignatius High School, moved to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University and graduated in 1969 where he met his future wife whom he married on February 24, 1968.  Employed in telecommunications from Cincinnati Bell in 1969 to retiring as Manager of Telecommunications at Miami University in 2008. Brother of Rosemary Reece and the late Richard Walsh.  Father to Brian (Michelle) Walsh, Scott Walsh, Rebecca Knodel and Timothy Walsh, Grandfather to Adam (Claire) Walsh, Alexander Knodel, Amanda Knodel, Amber Knodel, Megan Walsh and Samuel Walsh and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom was an avid fan of whatever his children and grandchildren were involved with, especially soccer.  Whether, watching, coaching or refereeing, it was his passion.
