Thurl M Golden

89 of Hamilton OH, quietly passed from this earth the morning of 1/08/11. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Thurl was married for 65 years to the love of his life, Helen Napier Golden who preceded him in death 2/22/08. He leaves a daughter Evelyn "Lynn" Golden, a son Thurl D."TG" Golden (Carol) and daughter Sharon A. Chandler. Grandchildren are Jonathan Farmer, Jennifer Farmer Law, Cheryl Jaeger, Meredith Taylor (Steve) and Kelly Donley. Great-grandchildren are Morgan and Madison Donley and Colin Taylor. Thurl was born in Hamilton Ohio 8/28/21 and attended school in Fairfield. He was the son of Bessie Fields Golden and Leslie R. Golden, brother to Dona Wagner and deceased siblings Ileno, Lavana, Randle, Dondel, Marvin, Nolan and Wilman. Thurl served our country during WWII with the US Army and was retired from Mosler Safe Company. He enjoyed his grandchildren above all. Thurl excelled in wood working projects during his retirement and many other hobbies including art.

Thanks to Hospice and Birchwood Care Facility for their excellent care and support. Visitation will be 1:30 PM - until time of service (2:30 PM), Wednesday 1/12, at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield Ohio, 45014 with burial immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery.
