Timothy Scott Hamblin

Age 53, of Brooksville, FL passed away on August 10, 2022, at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. Tim was born in Hamilton, OH on November 1, 1968 to the late Larry J. Hamblin and Sharon Kay (Whitlock).  Tim is survived by his wife, Cecelia Fran Hamblin, and his son, Bradley Samay (Ashley) of Mason, OH, and his step-son, Roy Drury of Brooksville, FL.

Tim is also survived by his sisters, Karen Singh (Preet) and Shelly Lanham (Aaron), his step-mother, Alta Faye Hamblin (Eddie Horton), and his step-sisters, Tracie Metz (Mike) and Tina Yelton (Mark), as well as many other extended family & friends.

Tim was preceded in death by both of his parents.

During his high school days, Tim was a star running back for the Hamilton High Big Blue Football Team.  After graduation, Tim joined the US Navy and spent duty aboard the USS Yellowstone during the Gulf War and Desert Storm.  When he returned to Hamilton, he worked at Southwestern Ohio Steel for several years before moving to Florida – where he met his loving wife, Fran, who passed away September 26, 2022.

Inurnment Graveside services, with Military Honors will be held at Millville Cemetery, 2289 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:30am.  This service is open to all family and friends.
