Todd Payne, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, at the age of 50. Todd was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who leaves behind countless cherished memories for all who knew and loved him. Those who knew Todd knew he was strong-willed and his stubbornness was an unmistakable part of who he was and is something his family and friends will remember with affection and a smile. One of Todd’s greatest joys was Brookville Lake. He loved spending time there and became especially close to the neighbors at the marina. These friendships became an important part of his life, and the lake came to feel like home. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sandy Shircliff, and his grandmother, Dorothy Hamm. He is survived by his father, Robert A. Payne; his brother, Rob Payne, and sister-in-law, Lori Payne; niece, Lydia Payne; nephew, Levi Payne; sister, Ann Tatum, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Tatum; and nephews, Brock Tatum and Cade Tatum. Todd will be remembered for his strong personality, his stubborn streak, his love of Brookville Lake, and the family and friendships that meant so much to him. He was one of a kind stubborn as they came and loved more than he probably ever realized. A visitation will be held on Thursday October 8, 2026, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday October 8, 2026, at 5:00pm at Loyal Order of Moose, 925 Pyramid Hill Dr. Hamilton, OH 45013.
