Veda Jones, age 72, of Hamilton passed away August 18, 2004 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. She was born July 27, 1932 in Hardburley, KY the daughter of Gus and Effie (Smith) Johnson. On January 26, 1948 she married Adrian Jones in Hazard, KY.
She is survived by her nieces, Carlene Craig of Richmond, IN, Linda Grimes of Spring Hill, TN, Victoria Davis of Hagerstown, IN, Sheila Deloney of Orlando, FL; and nephews, Robert Johnson of Economy, IN and James Heavenridge of Richmond, IN.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m.(EST), Saturday August 21, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will also be Saturday from 12 Noon - until time of service (EST) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Masonic Temple 724 High St., Hamilton, OH 45011.
