Vera Edna Stanley (Lauther) (Lockwood)

Stanley (Lockwood) Vera Edna, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away on November 18, 2014 at Otterbein Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born on March 23, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH. Vera loved her gardens of flowers, watching birds, and spending time with her family. Devoted mother of Mark Lockwood, Greg (Suzanne) Lockwood, Tom (June) Lockwood, Diane (Greg) Kreimer; loving Grandma to Lauren (Christian) Klim & Jim Lockwood, Ryan, Ross & Reid Lockwood, Katie, Sarah & AJ Lockwood and Jessy Kreimer; Great Grandma to Kylie, Phillip, Grace, Emily & Benjamin. Vera was the beloved wife of 34 years to the late Dale E. Stanley. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Lauther; sister to the late Mel (late Margie) Lauther and late Arthur (late Peggy Jo) and late Charlotte (late Jim) Aguinaldo and late Phyllis (Eugene) Walsh. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Otterbein Lebanon and Hospice of Cincinnati for all of their love, care and concern. Visitation will be Saturday, November 29 at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd. Mt. Healthy, OH from 10-11:30 with the service and burial immediately following at 11:30 to 12:00.
