MULLINAX
Vernon J.
We have lost one of everyone's best friends and family. Vernon passed away on March 12, 2012 at his home. He had been very ill for quite sometime. Praise God he had a son, Sherman who took care of him in everyway. Vernon was known as one of the hardest working men on Earth. He retired from Ford Motor in Oct. 1996. He still holds the record at Ford for never being late or missing a day in the 16 years he worked there. Rain or shine, sick or well he was always working. His passion was motorcycles. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, he entered the service when he was 17. His wife Geraldine preceded him in death in 1987. He is survived by his sons; Sherman, Raymond, Roger, Oscar, Tony, and Bobby; also survived by numerous grandchildren. The hardest working man can now rest in heaven with our father and savior Jesus Christ. He will truly be missed by all. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com
