Virgie V. Loreaux

Virgie V. Loreaux, age 98 of Portsmouth passed away Friday August 13, 2004 at Hillview Nursing Home in Portsmouth. She was born December 23, 1905 in Williamsburg, VA, the daughter of Oscar and Pauline (Sonmor) Flatten. On June 22, 1929 she married Robert Loreaux in Akron, OH.
She is survived by son, Robert Loreaux, Jr.; daughters, Mary Schroeder and Janet Brettin; brother Odell Flatten; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband; and brothers, Melvin and Vernon.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Saturday August 28, 2004 at Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wooster, OH.
