Virgil Moore

Age 77 of Fairfield passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his home. He was born June 4, 1930 in Hamilton, the son of John A. and Nina (Isaacs) Moore. On May 7, 1953 he married Nora Pearl Smith in Jellico, TN. Virgil was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict and a retiree of Ford Motor Company in Sharonville. He was a member of Hugh L. Bates Lodge #686, F. & A.M. and Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite.

Virgil is survived by his daughters, Patty (Mark) Heinrich and Shirley (James) Howell all of Fairfield; grandchildren, Stephen (Amber) Heinrich of Chicago, IL, Ryan (Katie) Heinrich of New York, NY, Michelle (Mike) Thorne of Springfield, MO, Mindy Peters of New Castle, IN, Eddie Peters of Spiceland, IN, and Rebecca (Matt) McGlone of Chicago, IL; great-grandchildren, Courtney Gilliam of New Castle, IN, Micaela and Megan Thorne, both of Springfield, MO; sisters, Delores (Ted) Skalley and Leoma Jones; brothers, Floyd (Bernice) Moore, Earl (Vicki) Moore and Doug Moore; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nora Pearl Moore; daughter, Vickie Sue Peters; and siblings, John Moore, Garnie Hobbs, Charles Moore, Cecil Church, Shirley Wagers, and Dallas Moore.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of Masonic and funeral services (11 a.m.), Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976
