Virginia Ann (Pottkotter) Holstein of Hamilton, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 84.
“Jinny” was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend and wife of over 63 years to her devoted husband, Ronald Holstein. Together they built a life centered on love, faith and unwavering support. She will be remembered for her kind heart and contagious laugh.
Jinny found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—playing piano, admiring cardinals, telling jokes, playing card games, cheering on college basketball, baking and working on crossword puzzles. She was a proud mother to Lynn Peck (Jack) and Todd (Kim) and grandmother to Shelbi, Ryan, Evan and Brandon. She leaves behind 5 brothers and sisters, Mary Wagner, Connie Brandon, Terry, Ken and Tom Pottkotter whom she loved dearly. Jinny was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved spending time with her friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
