Age 88, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009. Virginia was born August 9, 1921, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Kathryn Hoffman.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Dace) Young 45 and Gordon H. Sarchet 51; sister, Dorothy M. Ferguson 89; grandchildren, Lauren 9 and Jaden 7; nephews, Warren, Jerry, Roger, and Darrell Ferguson; and many great nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Kathryn Hoffman; husband, H. Gordon Sarchet; sister, Ruth A. Hoffman; granddaughter, Rachel L. Sarchet; brother in law, Warren Ferguson; and nephew, Roger Ferguson.
Memorial service and reception will be 4pm, Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Cottingham Retirement Community.
