Virginia "Sue" Smith was born to the late Tom and Leora Moses on December 1, 1940 in Pleasant View, Kentucky. She passed on November 12, 2010 at Hospice in Hamilton just short of her 70th birthday.
Sue leaves behind her children, Gina Aspacher (Al), Darlene Stolar (Tony), and Benjamin Smith, grandsons Drew and Derek Aspacher, granddaughters Erica, Teagyn and Taylor Stolar, sister Glenna Carter (Tom), nephews Tom Driftmeyer, Ken Driftmeyer and Tom Carter, Jr.
She was an avid Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Braves fan, but loved all football and baseball games. She was also a very talented quilter who created several hand-sewn works of art.
After graduating Waite High School in Toledo, Sue went on to cosmetology school and became a beautician. Putting her career on hold, she became a homemaker for many years. Many people knew and loved her from her last job at Marsh grocery in Fairfield.
A private memorial was held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to an animal shelter of your choice, as she was a cat lover. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
