Wade V Courtright

COURTRIGHT

Wade V., age 86; of Fairfield passed away on March 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born in North Fairfield, Ohio on December 29, 1924. He was the son of Jesse and Mary (nee Wilson) Courtright.

He married Gloria Anne Carpenter on November 8, 1947.

He joined the US Navy at age 17 and served during both WWII and the Korean Conflict before joining the US Air Force from which he retired in 1967. Wade worked at General Electric until he retired in 1987 where he worked as a jet engine technical writer.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, his son Carl Bruce Courtright of Cincinnati, grandson Nathan (Windgate) Courtright of Indianapolis, and his parents.

He is survived by three sons; Richard A. Courtright of Fairfield, Dennis L. (Linda) Courtright of Fairfield, Thomas E. (Ellen) Courtright of West Chester, Carolyn Courtright of Cincinnati. Grandchildren, Jenni Courtright, Stephanie (Jimmy) Zazycki, Cindy (Brandon) Agee, Mindy (Larry) Horn, Patricia Courtright, Dusty (David) Marshall, Zachery Courtright, Matthew (Karen) Naegel and Micheal (Summer) Naegel. Fourteen great grandchildren; Taylor, Bryan, Alea, Joseph, Allison, Kyle, Danny, Gabriel, Cameron, Grace, Alexander, Brook, Morgan, Cameron J.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2011, 10:00 am at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 at the funeral home.
