Wallace Leugers
March 19, 1937 — February 17, 2009
Age 71 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at The Lodge Retirement Center. He was born March 19, 1937 in Hamilton, the son of Raymond and Alma (Kolbenstetter) Leugers. On August 13, 1960 Wally married Lorraine Buck in Cincinnati. She later preceded him in death on July 2, 2000. Wallace worked for General Motors until his retirement in 1998 and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Wally leaves behind his children, Steve (Jami) Leugers, Debbie (Rick) Robertson and Patti (Andy Ennis) Leugers; twin brother, Thomas (Catherine) Leugers; grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, Emily, Abbie and Hannah; and 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, OH 45011 with Father Mike Pucke, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
