Wayne was preceded in death by his parents the Reverend Donovan Humble and Margaret Jean (Dawson) Humble; brothers-in-law Charles Rose, Lynn Neiss and Ronald Workman.

Wayne was born in Piketon, OH on June 27, 1950. He had a great childhood and had many neighborhood friends whom he enjoyed playing outdoors with during the summers. He attended school in Piketon and graduated in 1968. He attended Mount Vernon Nazarene (College) University from 1968-1970, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree. He continued his education at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1974. He was employed by Revco until CVS took over. He was a pharmacist in Sydney, OH, Portsmouth, OH and Myrtle Beach, SC during his forty-year employment. He was a gentle, humble, quiet and humorous man. His personality was pleasant, and he displayed lots of wisdom. He was well liked by all who knew him.

At the age of seventy, he married Beverly and together they enjoyed traveling, visiting their Forever Friends from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and spending time with family. Their relationship, romance and marriage were a miracle from God. To have met fifty-two years prior at MVNU and to have never dated and not seen each other in all those years, only to have God reconnect them during a Pandemic! Being around them was breathtaking. The love they had for one another was evident to everyone around them. God gave them one another for a season and Wayne and Beverly were both better for it. Love like that doesn’t come around in your seventies very often. What a special blessing to behold.
