Willetta Shepard

Age 82 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Vitas Hospice - Ft. Hamilton. She was born August 21, 1924 in Nickolasville, KY, the daughter of John and Betty Hay. On December 20, 1944 she married Charles L. Shepard in Hamilton, OH. Billie enjoyed her family and making special trips to St. Mary's Lake, where she spent time with all of her Celina friends.

She is survived by her son, David J. Shepard; sister, LaVerne Tanner; grandchildren, David S. Shepard; Leslie (Tracy) Powers; great-grandchildren, Heather Travillian and Brittany, Jacob and Cody Powers; great-great grandchild, Joshua Hefner; special nieces and nephews; and the family dog, Lady. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Jessie House, Nellie Standafer and Josephine Wills; brothers, Johnny Hay, Lloyd Hay and Clinton Hay; and daughter-in-law, Dorothy J. Shepard.

The family would like to thank the Vitas Hospice staff for all of their loving care and support.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (12:30 p.m.), Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor John Eshelman officiating.
