Age 90 of Hamilton, OH, passed Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born August 30, 1919 in Connersville, IN, the son of Howard A. and Josephine (Collins) George. Mr. George proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1973 and was a member of NALC #426 Branch.
William leaves behind his son, Larry George; granddaughter, Kristel George; and other family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; and his parents.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery in Connersville, IN (EST 2p.m.) Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
