William D. Maston Sr.

MASTON William D. Sr., age 75, passed away on February 12, 2014. He was born on July 3, 1938 to Omar and Emily (nee McWilliams) Maston in Peoria, IL. Bill was married to Patricia Jane (nee Lapham) for 52 years; she preceded him in death on September 10, 2013. He is survived by his devoted children, William (Kerry) Maston Jr., James (Beth) Maston, Daniel (Theresa) Maston, Cathleen Andrews, and John Maston; loving grandfather of Greg, Cody, Monica, Andrew, Lauren, Scot, Tiffany, Nichole, Jacob, Becca, Jessica, Julie, and Jeffery; 14 great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sister, Christine (Albert) Pettitt; brothers in law, Donald (Audrey) Lapham Jr. and Richard (Beverly) Lapham. He was preceded in death by his parents, son in law Michael Andrews Sr., and brothers Bernie and Philip Maston. Bill was retired from the Montgomery County Schools, where he was a teacher; member of Fairfield West Baptist Church; and an Army Veteran. Visitation will be Monday February 17, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service will be Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
