BALSINGER, William “Bill” E.
Age 77 of Hamilton passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born June 27, 1938 in London, KY, the son of Charles and Ida (Frazier) Balsinger. On March 24, 1956 Bill married Lois Gabbard in Liberty, IN, just celebrating their 60 th anniversary. He was the Chief Building Official for Butler County Building and Zoning from 2000 to 2012, until his retirement. Bill also served on numerous boards, some of those including: Sunday School Superintendent for 21 years at New Miami Wesleyan Church; New Miami School Board President; D. Russell Lee Vocational School Board; and Butler County Board of Education. He most recently attended St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church.
Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Lois Balsinger; daughters, Vickie (John) Jones, Rhonda (Ronald) Geisler, and Judy (Rob) Boehm; grandchildren, William (Jessica) Jones, Terry and Haley Creech; great-grandchildren, Cordell and Violet Jones; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Phillips, Wanda (Kenneth) New, Lois Mae Northcutt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Elmer and Emma Gabbard; and grandson, Michael Scott Jones.
