BOLON
William L., "Bill" age 66 of Hamilton passed away after a long illness on August 8, 2013. He is the beloved husband of Linda; loving brother of Barbara (Don) Miller; dear step father of Mark (Jeannie) Manthe; step grandfather of Chelsie (Michael Montgomery) Manthe, Justin Manthe, and Austin Manthe; step great grandfather of Layla and Sophia. Also survived by his sisters in law, Carol (Don) Dick and Christine Pez; brothers in law, Rick Ellison, Brian (Terri) Cornell, and Greg Cornell.
Bill was a Sergeant in the Air Force and then served 14 years in the Army Reserves; he was also a police officer with the city of Fairfield until his retirement in 1998.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014
Full military honors will be presented at 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the funeral home.
