SHANNON
William Dale, "Bill" age 83 of West Chester passed away on May 29, 2012. He is the beloved husband of Jeanne L. (nee Welland); loving father of Renee` Kees, Bev (James) Wymer, Kai (Lloyd) Zacharias, Thomas (Peggy) Kees, Joani Allen, and William Shannon; grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 19. Bill is also survived by his sister, Mary Richter; brother, Kenneth Shannon; sister in law, Elaine Smith; and brother in law, Thomas Welland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel; and his brother in law William "Bill" Welland.
Bill was the owner and president of Shannon Tool and Die until his retirement in 1998; he was also a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying his planes.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
