Age 82 of Hamilton departed this life Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Manor Care of Woodridge. She was born March 18, 1924 in Oxford, OH, the daughter of Frank and Beatrice (Lee) Davis. On December 21, 1947 she married Herbert Gudgell in Newport, KY. Wilma was a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her devotion was to the Lord, to which she was able to share with her grandchildren so they may continue her Legacy.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Sandra) Gudgell of Hamilton and Roberta Campbell of Hamilton; sisters, Mary Lou Davis of Florida, Clara Davis of Hamilton; sister-in-law, Wanda Davis of Florida; grandchildren, Dawnetta, Peggi, Bobby, Carrie, Shannon, April and Veronica; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Beverly Parker; brothers, Albert Davis and Frank Davis; and grandsons, Greg Parker and Delbert DeLaCroix.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (1 p.m.), Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Danny Rollins officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Also, a reception will follow after graveside services at her church.
