Wilma C. Headley (Powell) - died March 25, 2014 at the Baptist Convalescent Home, Newport, KY at the age of 89 ( was born July 25, 1924 in Knox Co., KY living most of her life in Ft. Thomas ,KY). She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Durward E. Headley (died March 20, 2007). She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Furthermore, she loved being a homemaker, loved her church, her community of Ft. Thomas, and her over-all "life" until Alzheimer's Disease took everything from her. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Murrell (Kenneth); 2 grandchildren, Heidi Murrell Buresh (Mike) and Matthew Murrell ; and 2 great-granddaughters, Willa Buresh and Reis Buresh. There will be a private viewing , and remembrance meal, for family only. She had tremendous care over all those years at the Baptist Convalescent Home (2005-2014); indeed, they were truly a "God-send"!
