Winifred Ann Stricker
October 24, 1925 — March 11, 2011
Age 85 passed away March 11, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born October 24, 1925, the youngest of William and Anna (Holz) Straub, in Chicago, IL. On February 13, 1945 she married Robert P. Stricker in the Navy Chapel at Patuxent River, MD. They were married 64 years when passed away in 2009.
She was a member of St. Stephens's Altar Rosary Society, the Franciscan Mission Society, St. Stephen's P.T.A. and worked St. Stephen's Bingo for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jane (Thomas) Oberdorf of Hamilton, OH, Karen ( James) Mueller of Cincinnati, Claudia Loysen of Columbus, OH, Robert P. Sticker, II of San Diego, CA, Kathleen (David) Arnold of Dayton, OH, Barbara (Greg) Dininger of Hamilton, OH, and Winifred (Gary) Seifert of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren, Jamie (Arnie) Beringer, James (Casi) Mueller, Sarach (Denis) Durrell, Jennifer Mueller, Brian Loysen, Heather (Lucas) Perfors, Kyle Loysen and his finance`Laura Catizone, Matthew Arnold, Elizabeth (Danny) Tyburski, Nicholas Arnold, Lucas (Katie) Dininger, Joseph Dininger, Jeffery (Heather) Seifert and Alicia Seifert. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters; and five great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy (John) Malloy, George (Kate) Straub, and Robert, Benjamin and Donald Straub; one niece and four nephews; in-laws, Cletus (Alberta) Stricker and George (Margaret) Sticker; three nephews and one niece.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, OH 45067. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.
